District Convention

This year’s convention will be a one day only event to keep costs low so more members can attend. We are so grateful for Nicholls State University for letting us use their auditorium. This event will be from 10am to 4pm, with lunch provided. The cost this year will only be $25 and I am confident that your Kiwanis clubs will help you offset the cost of this. If you need help reaching out to your Kiwanis please let me know!
At the convention, we will be having a variety of workshops like officer training and club growth ideas. If you have an idea for a workshop you would like to hear or want to present feel free to message me about it. In addition, we will have updates from the district and international, and we will be doing a lot of giveaways. The biggest thing we need to accomplish this convention is District Board Elections (Governor, Secretary , Lt. Governor, and International endorsements). The theme of this year’s convention is the Wild West and there will be a prize for best costume that fits the theme. The link to register is down below with a graphic that you can share to your club members to hopefully get them to attend. We need AT LEAST TWO MEMBERS FROM YOUR CLUB TO ATTEND convention so we can vote in a new District Board. It is also a great opportunity for members to get the full experience of CKI and gain more passion for this organization, while learning tips to help your club succeed. I hope to see you there!!
